<p>Often, before the first use of the mask, a layer of oil forms under the safety seal. This is quite normal and serves the additional protection of the product. We therefore recommend that you stir the mask with a small spatula or spoon so that a homogeneous mass is formed, which you can then apply to your skin.<br />

To prepare your face optimally for the application of the Calming Face Mask, you should cleanse it thoroughly beforehand (therfore we recommend our <a href="https://hello-sue.com/en/collections/frontpage/products/no-7-cleansing-face-oil">No. 7 Cleansing Oil</a>). Apply the mask to your dry skin. Avoid the eye area. Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes before removing it with a warm flannel. We recommend using the mask no more than once a week, so as not to over-condition the skin.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
If you want to use the mask as a gentle exfoliator, apply it to cleansed, damp skin and massage it in with your fingers. Again, make sure to avoid the eye area. Rinse the mask off with lukewarm water or a flannel. We recommend using it once a month so that the cell structure can recover and regenerate in the meantime.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
Please note: If you have previously used conventional care products, your skin must first get used to pure natural cosmetics. Therefore, test the body oil on the inside of your arm before the first application to prevent possible skin irritations.</p>
